For decades, the software world pursued true analogue character through circuit simulation and mathematical modelling. Titan took a different path.
At the heart of Titan lives the nervous system of a $7,000 class vari-mu hardware compressor. Through an extensive R&D process led by Berat Pala, the hardware’s electrical behaviour was mapped in its entirety: the voltage response of the tube gain stage, the magnetic saturation curve of the transformer core, the thermally driven harmonic production of the valves, and the circuit’s moment to moment dynamic decisions were each individually analysed. These maps were unified within the Luxora Audio Hyper Technology Engine and the hardware’s decision making mechanism, its analogue brain, was translated into software with surgical precision.
Magnetic Transformer Architecture
Titan’s Next Generation Magnetic Transformer Architecture reproduces the magnetic core behaviour of physical hardware in real time. Weight and depth in the low end, energy and cohesion through the midrange, smoothing and air in the highs, all of these are natural outputs of the magnetic saturation model. The architecture calculates in real time when harmonic texture should rise and when it should pull back, responding instantly to signal level and dynamic content. Not as an approximation. Exactly as the physical circuit does.
Three Operating Modes
