工作流程

TAL-EQ is a versatile graphical equalizer designed for great sound, a fast workflow, and effortless usability. It features dynamic processing and multiple stereo editing modes. The spectrum view displays the frequency content and all changes in real time.
This plugin always runs with zero latency without oversampling and emulates the frequency response of analog equalizers. The topology-preserving filter remains stable even with fast dynamic modulations and is optimized for CPU efficiency.
Each band can be fully automated. Undo/redo and A/B comparison are also included, making it easy to find the perfect setting for any audio material. Use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out.
Customize the plugin: scale the UI to expand the EQ workspace, adjust the size of knobs and text, or change text and background colors to your liking.
Workflow
The workflow is intuitive and simple. Double-click to create a new EQ band. Hold down SHIFT while creating a band to enable dynamics immediately. Use the mouse and mouse wheel to set the position and adjust Q, or use the knobs at the bottom, or enter values directly with the keyboard. Multi-selection is also possible to edit multiple bands in one step.
Double-click a band or use the X icon to delete it. Adjust the slope of the bell curve to create a flat-top bell filter, a flat-top bandpass, or a steeper shelf, low-pass, or high-pass filter. Most filters support a slope from 12dB up to 96dB per octave.
DYNAMIC
Shelf and bell filters support dynamic processing. This allows the EQ band gain to be controlled by the input level of the affected frequency range, helping you achieve more transparent mixes. For example, you can reduce the low end of a bass only when the kick plays—similar to sidechain compression, but less intrusive, since it affects only specific frequency ranges rather than the entire signal. It can also be used for de-essing when certain frequencies exceed a threshold, while leaving quiet parts untouched, along with many other creative applications.
DYNAMIC: Enables or disables dynamic processing.
S-CHAIN: When enabled, the side-chain signal is used to control the dynamics.
AUTO: Auto threshold mode. When disabled a threshold slider shows up that lets you adjust it manually.
RANGE: A positive or negative decibel range for the dynamic changes (+-36dB).
ATTACK / RELEASE: The attack / release time in milliseconds.
PROCESSING OPTIONS
You can adjust the output volume or pan the signal. With MS enabled, the volume of the mono or stereo part can be adjusted separately. A phase invert button is also available.
The plugin also offers different processing options for each band:
STEREO: Processes the stereo signal.
LEFT / RIGHT: Processes the left or right channel.
MID: Processes only the mono part of the signal.
SIDE: Processes only the stereo part of the signal.
When expanded, the meter shows the actual LUFS-M value as additional information. Values can also be entered directly with the keyboard. For volume, a simple click on the label lets you enter a value, while for slider parameters (PAN, MID, SIDE) a right-click is required.
